Verification Program Lead

Summary:
The Verification Program Lead is responsible for adapting verification tools for a new AR/VR device. Partnering with a Systems Engineer, the Program Lead will review requirements from software teams and develop a test plan, then work with the test development engineers to implement it.
Day-to-day for the Program Lead will primarily consist of extending and adapting Verification tools (set of firmware/ hardware test stations or data collection infra) and designing and implementing special workflows (example: data labeling at the factory) to enable data collection to start on time.

Technical responsibilities:
- Write configuration files (limits, sensor configuration, DMC, etc) for new devices
- Write modules into the Meta’s Device Configuration Library and test that they work on a device
- Ensure the data pipeline (e.g. test hardware configuration, device recording, evaluation, and data upload) works with hardware in the loop
- Assess requests from the System Engineer: determine the test solution best-suited for the problem from an existing suite of tests, or build the first proof-of-concept for a new test methodology

- Provide hands-on bring-up and data collection support

- Pickup miscellaneous tasks on any of the tools or infrastructure to keep the test development team on track
- Prior Experience in scripting for prototyping purposes (e.g. python) is necessary, and software development experience (version control, working in a shared codebase) is a plus.

Other responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the tasks for data collection execution or factory team are ready, and onboard the data collectors who are assigned to them
- Lead the status meeting with test development team, identifying barriers where you can jump in to help move the project along or that you need to escalate a critical issue
- Be point-of-contact for the test development team: interface with System Engineers, Project Managers, and hardware/software engineers for the new device
