Senior System Solution Engineer

Qualitest is looking for a System Solution Engineer which will be responsible with our partner’s Hardware/Software and infrastructure operations, remotely or on their clients’ sites.

• The day-to-day activities relate to diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems pertaining to L2 cases and situations. The role will emphasize on our new product platform including open-source technologies with micro services environment.
• The position will require a high degree of coordination with the customers world-wide and the company’s engineering, services, laboratory, R&D operations and business teams.
• Customer centric, act as Person of Contact (POC) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) and be the Consultant our Partners and Clients trust and value;
• Problem solver, taking ownership and team player with hands-on ability that can work with other team members to accomplish various jobs, and to thrive in a collaborative to resolution;
• Working knowledge of cyber processes, implementation and system operations;
• Provide IT Support on HW and Software alike;
• Install, configure and deploy;
• Train the ability to participate in a multi-task environment;
• Develop and show familiarity with Support methodologies, practices and tools;
• Set and meet the performances by KPIs.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience with R&D, technical support, professional services or similar;

• Ability to understand and analyze complicated, multidisciplinary and distributed systems;
• Excellent English language skills - spoken and written;
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems;
• Experience with NetApp, VMware;
• Experience with monitoring and alerting technologies: Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana;
• Knowledge in telephony protocols one of the following (SIP, H323, SS7, GSM, ETSI).
