Test Engineer (Cards and Payments Expert)

Qualitest is seeking a skilled Test Engineer with deep expertise in the Cards & Payments domain to join our B2 team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with payment systems and a strong foundation in QA and testing strategies. This role involves validating large-scale financial platforms and collaborating closely with business and technical teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite 2 days/week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute functional, system, and UAT testing for payment systems

• Validate processes including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, disputes, and reconciliation

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure thorough requirements coverage

• Develop and maintain testing strategies, plans, and documentation

• Identify gaps, suggest improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards

• (Optional/Nice-to-Have) Contribute to test automation initiatives

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in the Cards & Payments domain (Issuing, Acquiring, Switching, Payment Gateways)

• Deep understanding of QA & testing strategies for financial platforms

• Experience with large-scale or enterprise financial systems

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Test automation knowledge (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with a focus on payments
