Team Lead - Multiple Positions
Perform complex linguistic and functional testing of localized software applications and websites.
• Identify, analyze and report, in order to assist launch products of the highest quality.
• Act as the quality gatekeeper, voice and ambassador for the target language.
• Thoroughly test and review localized content to ensure consistent messaging and proper functionality.
• Participate in technical design discussions on UI, UX for products launching in international markets. Identify and fix linguistic and cultural issues.
• Perform code reviews, complete paired development, and provide constructive feedback to engineering teams in order to increase the quality of the software solutions deployed.
• Work with engineers within different product teams assisting them with internationalizing the code, externalizing content to be localized, and making improvements to localization.
• Help evaluate, test, and implement internationalization tools.
• Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to capture, document, analyze requirements, and solve problems from end-to-end.
• Implement new features for internal and external users. Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes that are encountered.
• Provide natural native-language expertise for a wide range of topic areas and help to define software needs.
• Evaluate the natural language understanding coverage of products.
• Serve as language\locale subject matter expert for specific products.
• Analyze data trends for user intents\needs for various features and provide analysis of future features.
• Write ongoing documentation.
• Support UI and Product improvement, including Help adjust the user interfaces to the local languages.
• Build test data sets, debug and analyze them - apply changes to the language model, test and launch.
Up to 100% travel required. Reports to company headquarters in Chicago, IL. Roving employee will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Info Sys, IT-related, Comp Sci, Operations (any), Management (any), Engineering (any), Analytics (any), Business (any), Language (any), Telecom, Math, Physics, Electrical/Electronics or related and two (2) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
