Senior Data Tester (QE/SDET) - Argentina

Qualitest is looking for a Senior Data Tester to join our growing team. The position is remote in Argentina, Mexico or Canada.

About the role:

You will be responsible for defining data testing scope and strategy for data warehouse and data lake architecture to ensure data transfer from source to target has met all defined quality criteria, automating the data testing components, and run them as part of regular pipeline job.

Requirements:

• Years of relevant experience > 10 years (in ETL/ELT testing)
• Ability to analyze data models, data transformation mapping to define testing scoping and coverage
• Ability to understand customer data platform and develop overall data testing strategy for continuous testing
• Experience using Azure data lake, Azure Databricks, Dbt, SQL Server and SSIS
• Experienced in working with one or more RDBMS/Columnar databases and preferably having exposure to semi structured and unstructured datasets 
• Understands Data warehousing and Data lake formation within Cloud
• Sound experience in writing complex SQL queries, analytical queries and able to validate results
• Have performed Data Profiling and Data Analysis tasks using SQL queries or Spark type jobs
• Design, Build and Deliver quality gates across data lifecycle for automated and continuous data testing

• Advanced English level
