#21947 - Salesforce Work Management Testing Lead
Qualitest is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Work Management Testing Lead to drive quality engineering strategy and execution across enterprise Salesforce platforms supporting utility operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the full testing lifecycle for solutions enabling field service scheduling, work order management, asset tracking, and customer operations.
The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing QA organization focused on validating complex integrations between Salesforce, utility operational systems, and enterprise platforms—ensuring reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement enterprise-wide testing strategy, governance, and quality standards for Salesforce Work Management platforms
- Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle: planning, design, execution, defect management, and reporting
- Lead testing across Agile delivery cycles and large-scale digital transformation programs
- Establish and scale automation frameworks to improve test coverage, speed, and release confidence
Salesforce Platform Quality Assurance
- Oversee validation of Salesforce-based solutions, including:
- Field Service and Work Management capabilities
- Work order orchestration and scheduling
- Mobile workforce applications
- Integrations with customer and grid systems
- Ensure quality across configurations, custom development, APIs, and platform integrations
Utility Systems Integration Testing
- Lead integration testing across Salesforce and critical utility systems, including:
- Outage Management Systems (OMS)
- Asset Management platforms
- GIS systems
- SAP and other enterprise ERP solutions
- Ensure high data integrity, system interoperability, and operational reliability for field operations
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of test managers, QA analysts, and automation engineers
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to align testing with operational needs
- Manage vendor and partner QA teams supporting large-scale program delivery
Quality Engineering & Automation
- Champion modern quality engineering practices, including automation, CI/CD integration, and shift-left testing
- Implement and optimize tools for API, performance, and automation testing
- Track and improve quality metrics such as defect leakage, test efficiency, and release stability
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure all testing practices meet utility industry regulatory, security, and reliability standards
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, traceability, and compliance reporting for production releases
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
- 7+ years of experience leading testing teams or QA programs
- Proven experience testing Salesforce platforms in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience with system integrations and API testing
