Qualitest is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Software Developer to join our team working on advanced software solutions for VR/MR headsets.

In this role, you will develop and maintain core software components that power build automation, telemetry systems, and performance-critical tools across both host machines and VR/MR headset environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and efficiency of these systems, contributing to the full development lifecycle from front-end interfaces to back-end services.

This is a full-time position based in Santa Clara, CA, requiring three days on-site per week with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and PHP
• Design, implement, and optimize build automation and telemetry systems that operate across host and VR/MR environments
• Integrate software components within CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment workflows
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and infrastructure to deliver high-quality, performant systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for reliability and scalability
• Manage multiple tasks independently and deliver results within deadlines

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software development with strong full-stack capabilities
• Proficient in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, and back-end technologies including PHP
• Hands-on experience working with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and Email

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal) or VR/MR platforms
• Experience with embedded systems or performance benchmarking tools
• Understanding of telemetry and data collection systems
• Prior full-stack development experience covering both frontend and backend
