We are looking for Quality Engineer Lead to join our growing team in Argentina. 

100% remote

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Engineering Lead to define and help lead our testing efforts and elevate product quality across the board. This role is less of a test execution role and more of a candidate who  will drive the quality strategy, standardize processes, mentor testers, and act as a bridge between technical and business teams. We need someone who  bring and implement industry best practices to raise the bar on quality across the organization. You will be expected to take initiative, solve problems independently, and champion quality throughout the SDLC.

Must Haves:
1. 5 years experience producing/reviewing testing strategy programs
2.  10 years experience w/ QA affairs within IT/ 3 years experience managing a program
3. Fully bilingual

Key Activities:
- Evaluate and optimize existing testing documentation, processes, and workflows for quality and efficiency
- Review and enhance Manual Test Strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives and Agile delivery
- Define scalable and reusable test cases, incorporating risk-based testing principles
- Identify and document comprehensive test data requirements across systems and environments

Responsibilities:
- Own test planning definition and strategy
-Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in deliverables
-Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to drive shared ownership of quality
-Establish and maintain testing documentation including traceability matrices, test plans, and defect dashboards
-Drive regression testing processes and automation readiness for repeatable test cases
-Proactively identify gaps in test coverage and propose solutions to close those gaps
-Contribute to Agile ceremonies with authority, influencing the quality agenda during sprint planning and backlog grooming
-Champion continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and QA metrics

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing, with at least 2+ years in a lead or strategic quality role
 - Proven ability to define, implement, and enforce quality standards, best practices, and scalable testing processes across teams
 - Demonstrated success in leading QA efforts across multiple projects or product lines, with a focus on risk mitigation and delivery quality
-  Strong knowledge of test management tools (preferably Azure DevOps) and their effective use in planning, tracking, and reporting QA activities
 - Experience in mentoring QA teams, improving team capability, and fostering a culture of quality ownership
 - Ability to translate business requirements into effective testing strategies and quality plans
 - Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and align QA efforts with product and business goals
 - High-level understanding of API testing, data validation, and backend systems — with the ability to guide others in these areas
 - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of representing QA in planning, estimation, and decision-making forums
- Experience in establishing quality metrics and reporting frameworks to drive continuous improvement
