We are looking for a JSM Atlassian Architect to join our growing team in United States

US (onsite) -  Alameda, CA

1. JIRA Solution Design

Key Responsibilities:
JIRA Solution Design:
-Design and architect JIRA solutions, including workflows, permissions, custom fields, screens, and issue types, to meet business requirements.
-Ensure JIRA solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adaptable to future needs.
-Work with stakeholders to define requirements and create custom JIRA solutions that align with business goals.
 
System Configuration and Integration:
-Configure JIRA instances (Cloud/Server/Data Center) to match client requirements.
-Integrate JIRA with third-party tools, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, or Service Desk, to enhance overall team collaboration and efficiency.
-Implement automations to streamline processes within JIRA (e.g., transitioning issues, notifications, etc.).
 
Customization & Optimization:
-Customize JIRA using add-ons (e.g., ScriptRunner, Zephyr) and scripting to extend functionality.
-Optimize JIRA performance by tuning system settings and managing large-scale projects.
-Create dashboards, reports, and other visualizations to help teams track progress and performance.
 
Training and Documentation:
-Provide training to users (teams, administrators, and leadership) on JIRA best practices, new configurations, and custom workflows.
-Develop documentation for JIRA configuration, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
-Assist in the transition of processes from legacy systems to JIRA, ensuring minimal disruption.
 
Governance and Maintenance:
-Define governance practices for managing user access, security settings, and system configurations.
-Monitor system health and conduct regular audits to ensure proper usage and compliance.
-Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updates and upgrades, to keep JIRA instances running smoothly.
 
Collaboration with Teams:
-Work closely with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure JIRA meets their needs and facilitates effective project management.
-Gather and translate user feedback into actionable improvements to JIRA configurations.
-Support ongoing process improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
-Strong expertise in JIRA configuration and administration (Cloud, Server, or Data Center).
- Experience with JIRA integrations, such as with Confluence, Bitbucket, Service Desk, and third-party plugins.
-Proficient in JQL (JIRA Query Language), automation rules, and scripting for JIRA (e.g., ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira).
-Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and project management frameworks.

Experience:
-Proven experience as a JIRA administrator or solution architect, with at least [X] years of hands-on experience in JIRA configuration and customization.
-Previous experience designing and implementing JIRA solutions for complex organizations or large teams.
-Familiarity with Jira reporting, dashboards, and project tracking capabilities.

Soft Skills:
-Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
-Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
-Ability to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $130,000 - $140,000.
