#18314 - Cypress Automation Engineer (Salesforce Applications).

Qualitest is seeking a highly skilled Cypress Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Salesforce applications to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation frameworks, strong expertise in Salesforce workflows, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within fast-paced, agile environments.

This is a key role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation test scripts using Cypress to ensure the quality and stability of Salesforce applications across both web and mobile platforms. You’ll play a crucial part in high-visibility projects, focusing on test efficiency, reducing manual testing, and ensuring comprehensive end-to-end functional coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable Cypress-based test automation frameworks.
• Automate test cases for Salesforce applications, including Lightning and custom objects.
• Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Participate in requirements grooming and test case design activities.
• Perform regression and smoke testing during agile sprints.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Ensure high test coverage, reusable test components, and automation best practices across modules.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior automation engineers as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience with Cypress for end-to-end automation.
• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and automation best practices for Salesforce applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for automation scripting.
• Experience with test reporting tools (e.g., Allure, Mocha).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning, APIs, and SOQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.

Must Haves:

1. Solid experience with Cypress automation.
2. Strong background in Salesforce applications and workflows.
3. Excellent communication skills (client-facing role).
