#18258 - Salesforce Principal Engineer
Qualitest is seeking an experienced Salesforce Principal Engineer to lead the design, architecture, development, and maintenance of Salesforce Sales Cloud applications. This pivotal role involves analyzing business requirements, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation and integration of Salesforce with third-party tools. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in integrating Salesforce with systems such as MuleSoft and Web Services, and thrive in Agile environments. This position requires a strong background in both Salesforce administration and development, making you a key player in shaping our Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, translating them into high-impact Salesforce solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain customizations within Salesforce Sales Cloud, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

Lead the integration of Salesforce Sales Cloud with external systems, including ERP platforms and third-party applications.

Optimize Salesforce platform performance and scalability, ensuring data integrity, efficient storage, and consistent functionality.

Facilitate user training sessions and provide ongoing technical support, fostering smooth adoption of new Salesforce features.

Establish and maintain best practices for Salesforce configuration, design, and development.

Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce updates, recommending improvements to enhance existing solutions.

Engage in collaborative activities such as code reviews, pair programming, and joint testing sessions to ensure high-quality code.

Proactively manage system maintenance, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.

Contribute across all stages of the SDLC (using Kanban methodology), from requirements gathering and story writing to design, estimation, implementation, and iterative development.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.

Deep expertise in Sales Cloud features, including Territory Management, Collaborative Forecasting, and Pipeline Inspection, particularly within the sales domain.

Strong background in Salesforce security, user management, data modeling, and creating reports and dashboards.

Expertise in Apex programming and hands-on experience with Lightning components, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Visualforce, and other Salesforce tools.

Experience with integration patterns such as batch processing, event-driven architecture, and real-time integrations.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and effectively manage stakeholder relationships.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Required: PD I certification; preferred: PD II certification.

Preferred: Sales Cloud Consultant certification.
Desired Knowledge & Skills:

Experience implementing Einstein AI tools within Salesforce.

Familiarity with Continuous Integration practices and automated testing strategies.

Knowledge of Account Engagement (Pardot) is a plus.

Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Kanban methodology.

Experience with AccelQ is an added advantage.

Proven experience managing the full SDLC, including writing stories and coding.
