#16065 - SAP Developer (Mid-Level)

Qualitest is seeking Mid-Level SAP Developers to join our growing Enterprise team in a remote position. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and supporting SAP solutions within the Application Management Services (AMS) framework. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and other developers to ensure the technical integrity of SAP systems while resolving incidents, service requests, and ensuring the ongoing optimization of SAP applications. This role is essential to driving continuous improvement across multiple SAP modules, including FICO, SD, MM, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Customization:

• Design, develop, and implement custom SAP solutions using ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and other relevant SAP technologies.
• Develop and support RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing and provide support for integration testing of developed solutions.

AMS Support & Incident Resolution:

• Provide technical support for SAP applications, focusing on the timely resolution of incidents and service requests within the AMS framework.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP modules (e.g., FICO, SD, MM) by analyzing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure that all incidents and service requests are resolved within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between SAP modules and applications.

System Enhancements & Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for system improvements and suggest optimizations for existing SAP processes.
• Participate in the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve system functionality.
• Stay current with the latest SAP technologies (e.g., S/4HANA) and incorporate innovative solutions into your development practices.

Documentation & Code Reviews:

• Prepare detailed technical documentation for all development work, including design specifications, testing protocols, and change logs.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure the adherence to coding standards, best practices, and overall quality.
• Manage version control of code changes using industry-standard tools.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:

• Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and provide technical insights that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, functional consultants, and other team members to ensure the smooth delivery of SAP projects.
• Actively participate in client meetings to discuss ongoing support issues, new development requests, and system improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP development, with a focus on ABAP programming.
  • Experience with Fiori/UI5 is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working within an AMS environment, providing support for large-scale SAP implementations (ECC6/S/4HANA).
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules, such as FICO, SD, MM, and their integration points.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP development and ABAP programming.
2. Fiori/UI5 Knowledge: Experience with Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
3. AMS Experience: Demonstrated experience working in an AMS environment, supporting ECC6/S/4HANA implementations.
4. SAP Modules Expertise: Familiarity with SAP modules like FICO, SD, and MM, and their integration across different SAP applications.
