System Test Engineer Lead

We are looking for Systems Test Engineer Lead to join our growing team in Mountain View, CA, United States.

Project Starline is working on the next wave of machine learning (AI) driven telecommunication devices, that enable co-presence through 3D displays, face tracking, machine learning, and multi-capture camera with cloud based rendering and teleportation capabilities that transport users across the globe.
We are looking for those experienced with systems testing in the telecommunications and/or video conferencing space.

Responsibilities
Lead and organize software testing team, ensuring all release deliverables are met on time
Organize and execute on test strategy and plans provided by program management
Manage transformation of PRD’s and new features into test cases to maximize test coverage
Represent QA team at release meetings with critical data that impacts gating decisions
Improve existing software testing processes and methodologies
Drive critical bugs to closure, to quickly unblock releases

Qualifications
Added must have on 12/19: Python and/or Bash scripting is mandatory
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Minimum 5 years’ experience in test planning and, test strategy development
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Test Automation in at least one programming language
Adept at troubleshooting complex systems integration issues through log analysis
Proficient with Linux and/or mobile architecture with hands-on command-line experience
Experience with Python and Bash are a preferred
Proficient with defect tracking tools, defect management and release triage methodologies
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment

Bonus Qualifications
Cloud experience - leading test engineering efforts from planning, execution, and delivery for cloud based applications
Experience working with test automation teams to identify and prioritize test cases which can and should be automated
Ability to organize and classify test execution strategies for efficiency
