We are looking for a Sustaining Engineer to join our Naval Systems Division team in a defense company.

This is a full-time position in Haifa 

 

In this role, you will be at the forefront of supporting and implementing cutting-edge maritime technologies.

You will act as a key technical focal point, bridging the gap between development and real-world application.

This position offers a dynamic blend of hands-on technical troubleshooting, customer-facing support, and active participation in offshore/naval field trials.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Global Customer Support & Maintenance: Provide comprehensive technical support to domestic and international customers.
  • This includes diagnosing and resolving complex system faults, conducting technical training sessions, executing system upgrades, and authoring technical documentation/manuals.
  • End-to-End Naval Field Trials: Lead and manage maritime experiments from inception to completion. 
  • Responsibilities include writing trial test plans, executing the trials at sea, and compiling detailed summary reports.
  • R&D Integration: Integrate into the core development and implementation teams to deploy advanced technological systems.

 

 Requirements:

 

  • Practical Engineer (הנדסאי) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Soft Skills: High level of independence in task execution, rapid learning agility, and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Languages: Good proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Prior experience in the maritime/naval sector or working with Unmanned Systems (UXVs/UAVs/USVs)
