Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for QA/QC within the IT unit across development, maintenance, and operations.

  • Defines audit methodologies and establishes structured QA procedures.

  • Leads software testing teams, provides professional guidance, and mentors QA testers.

  • Drives the implementation of defined testing methodologies and workflows.

  • Prepares periodic incident reports and provides recommendations for process improvement.

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Minimum 6 years of QA experience, including at least 4 years in QA team leadership or management.
  • Proven experience leading testing activities for complex software systems, preferably SCADA, Command & Control, real-time, or other operational systems.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Experience defining test strategies, writing and reviewing test scenarios, managing test execution, and producing test documentation and summary reports.
  • Experience managing test environments, including software, hardware, communication, integration, infrastructure, and cybersecurity testing.
  • Proven experience with defect management, quality metrics (KPIs, Coverage, Defect Density), and status/risk reporting.
  • Experience working with development teams, customers, and external vendors throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, training, and team management skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in Hebrew and English, including technical documentation and presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering & Management (Information Systems specialization)/Bachelor's degree in another field plus at least 300 hours of Information Systems training/Practical Engineer (Technician) diploma in Computers or Technology/ QA certification (300+ training hours) or advanced Information Systems training (400+ hours)/ Graduate of a technological IDF unit (Mamram, 8200, ICT Corps, or equivalent) with relevant professional experience
