We’re Hiring: a Software QA Engineer to join a team working on advanced algorithmic and web-based systems, with a focus on testing ballistic calculations based in Yokneam, full-time (on-site).

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Perform thorough regression testing after bug fixes
• Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client and system requirements
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to define and validate system requirements
• Monitor and analyze debugging results and system behavior
• Test ballistic calculations and algorithmic software components
• Perform testing of ballistic software applications and algorithms

Requirements

• Strong technical understanding and technical background – Must
• Good English communication skills – Must
• Full-stack knowledge – Must
• Solid understanding of web architecture – Must
• High-level mathematics and physics background (5 units) – Must
• Practical software engineering experience -Advantage
• Background or experience in Artillery / ballistic systems -Advantage
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence -Advantage
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Fast learner with the ability to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
