We’re Hiring: Lab Technician - Hardware Validation & Testing based in Haifa.

 

 

This role focuses on managing lab operations, performing hardware bring-up, maintaining and supporting equipment, and assisting in hardware development and validation for wireless connectivity products.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Order and manage components, equipment, and supplies.
  • Organize lab workspace for optimal efficiency and safety compliance.
  • Perform board and device bringup for new hardware platforms.
  • Configure and validate software and hardware setups.
  • Install and verify firmware on development platforms.
  • Validate and test device drivers.
  • Perform system calibration and verification.
  • Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment.
  • Monitor inventory stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
  • Maintain asset tracking database and documentation.
  • Execute functional testing procedures.
  • Debug and resolve setup/configuration issues.
  • Collect and log test data systematically.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in laboratory or technical environments.
  • Experience managing equipment, maintaining order, and organizing lab setups.
  • Practical experience setting up RF systems in the communication field.
  • Experience installing and configuring boards and operating systems (not soldering).
  • Ability to verify successful installations and execute test runs.
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing test results.
  • Strong technical orientation and “hands-on” approach, combining lab work and remote DevOps-style setup management.
  • Experience in remote lab management and ensuring system functionality.
  • Technical education – Practical Engineer (Electronics / Communication / similar).
  • Advantage: experience in lab operations, configurations, remote control systems, and basic automation tools.
