We’re hiring on behalf of Real Sense AI. Real Sense AI is redefining how machines understand the world, with advanced 3D vision technologies powering robotics, biometrics, and spatial computing solutions globally.
We’re looking for a Firmware & Embedded Software Engineer who thrives on working close to the hardware, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and wants to contribute to breakthrough sensing technologies as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This is a full time position in Haifa.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware for next-generation 3D vision products.
- Collaborate closely with hardware teams to bring up new platforms and sensors.
- Implement efficient drivers and middleware for real-time, resource-constrained environments.
- Conduct system-level debugging and optimize performance across the stack.
- Integrate firmware with host-side components and participate in continuous integration processes.
- Contribute to technical documentation and participate in design/code reviews.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems or firmware development.
- Proficient in C/C++ for embedded environments.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
- Experience working with RTOS or bare-metal systems (FreeRTOS is a plus).
- Skilled in debugging with tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Solid understanding of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g. , USB, I2C, UART, SPI).
- Experience developing Linux kernel drivers. - Advantage
- Knowledge of camera or image sensor integration (e.g., MIPI CSI). - Advantage
- Background in computer vision or 3D imaging technologies.Understanding of ARM Cortex-M/A architecture. - Advantage
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows and best practices. - Advantage
- Contributions to open-source firmware or embedded projects. - Advantage
