We're looking for a UX Designer for our teams in the technology industry

We are currently developing learning resources and seeking to integrate educational experiences with our audience’s workflows to enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities:

In this role, the UX Designer will work with the governance education effort to analyze user needs, apply UX design frameworks for user experiences, including principles, patterns, and systems, and leverage standard writing and design tools to develop mock-ups or prototypes.

 

Daily responsibilities:

  • Work with subject matter experts to understand user needs and program goals.
  • Conduct research to inform design of governance educational experiences integrated with research workflows, and create design concepts (prototypes) to inform ideation.
  • Apply or adapt UX design frameworks for user experiences, including principles, patterns, and systems.
  • Identify and follow design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines. Communicate work status to the team and identify potential delays.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 years of experience in user experience design
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, best practices, and methodologies
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms, and creating user flows, wireframes, interface mockups, and prototypes
  • Experience designing for technical audiences (e.g., research scientists and engineers)Familiarity with governance programs
  • Excellent English
  • 1-3 examples of work to review (tool UI, mock, or prototype in Figma)
