We are seeking a Lab Engineer for a super-challenging project on one of our teams in the Defense industry

This is a Full-time position in Herzliya

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain lab infrastructure, including troubleshooting issues and installing new equipment.
• Perform lab maintenance, updates, and migrations for various products and equipment.
• Collaborate with external vendors to facilitate the installation of new equipment.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to design and develop test environments that simulate real-world customer scenarios.
• Document lab architecture, configurations, and any modifications.
• Maintain and update asset management records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in: Networking Proficiency with Cisco equipment (mandatory); experience with Juniper and Aruba is an advantage.
• Virtualization: Expertise in VMware (mandatory); experience with Hyper-V and KVM is a plus.
• Network Security: Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls (mandatory).
• Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Debian and Ubuntu (mandatory); experience with Windows Server - mandatory.
• Experience: Configuring, operating, and troubleshooting proxy solutions (e.g., Squid, Zscaler, etc.). - advantage
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python - advantage
