We are seeking a Junior Software QA Tester for an exciting and challenging position for our Defense team!

This is a full-time position in Netanya.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing requirements and specifications for web applications
• Creating and executing test plans and test cases for web applications
• Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs and issues in a bug-tracking system
• Collaborating with developers to verify bug fixes
• Performing manual testing of various web applications to ensure functionality and user experience
• Participating in software development life cycle processes and testing methodologies
• Staying up-to-date with current industry trends and testing techniques

Requirements

• Background as a Combat Soldier in the Army and courses in academics and technology - must
• Extension of 5-10 units in computer science in high school or graduate of a practical software engineer or full-stack - an adavtage
• Knowledge of Linux/ Docker – an advantage
• High level of English - must
• CCNA Certified Graduates - an advantage
• Knowledge and experience working with Cisco, and Juniper routers/switches - an advantage
• Knowledge of radio communication or satellite communication - an advantage
• Up to 1-year experience in Manual Testing with Agile methodology– an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving approach
• Able to work independently, with a ‘can-do’ attitude in a dynamic work environment
• Self-learning and Independent
• Willingness to conduct security clearance
