Role Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced UX Designer to join a governance education team, focusing on integrating educational experiences into research workflows. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse user needs, apply UX design frameworks, and create intuitive, accessible design solutions that support researchers in understanding complex governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with subject matter experts to understand user needs and program goals
  • Conduct user research to inform the design of educational experiences embedded in technical workflows
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to support ideation and solution development
  • Apply and adapt UX design frameworks, principles, patterns, and systems
  • Follow established design systems, templates, accessibility standards, and style guides
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and risks to the wider team

Required Qualifications:

 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in design, HCI, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on UX design experience
  • Strong grasp of UX design principles, best practices, and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience designing across multiple platforms and user types
  • Proven ability to develop end-to-end UX deliverables including wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience designing for technical audiences, such as engineers or research scientists
  • Familiarity with governance, compliance, or complex operational workflows
  • Comfortable working in large-scale, fast-paced tech environments
