The Programme Test Manager is responsible for the end-to-end test strategy, planning, execution, and governance for the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This role ensures that all testing activities are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, while managing key stakeholders and ensuring smooth delivery.est Strategy & Planning:Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy and test approach for the SAP S/4HANA programme.Develop test plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.Test Execution & Governance:Oversee all test phases, including Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance Testing, and Regression Testing.Establish and enforce testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.Ensure test automation is leveraged where appropriate to improve efficiency and accuracy.Stakeholder Management & Communication:Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors to align testing efforts with business needs.Act as a single point of contact for all test-related activities within the programme.Provide regular test progress reports and highlight key risks and issues to senior management.Defect Management & Quality Assurance:Establish and drive defect triage processes to ensure defects are effectively identified, tracked, and resolved.Monitor test results, ensure adherence to acceptance criteria, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Team Leadership & Resource Management:Lead and manage a team of test managers, test analysts, and automation engineers.Define resource requirements and ensure adequate test coverage across multiple workstreams.Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure testing activities comply with regulatory and industry standards.Identify risks and dependencies and proactively work on mitigation strategies.Extensive experience in test strategy, planning, execution, and governance within a complex programme environment.Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, Selenium) and performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left testing methodologies.Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps).Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Experience managing offshore and onshore test teams, including vendor management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Certifications such as ISTQB, SAP S/4HANA, Agile, or ITIL are highly desirable.
