Automation Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Automation Specialist who writes automated test code as defined in specific project scope on internal Client infrastructure and using internal Client tools appropriate to a specific Client project and product.
• Automation tests tasks are designed and directed by the Client QA Lead per project scope.
• Automation code writing, work closely with the QA team, product and engineering teams to identify, prioritize and suggest automation code improvements
• Review automation code and assure test effectiveness
• Follow up on high-priority and blocking issues
• Identify gaps, issues or other problems and alert QA team, product and engineering teams
• Work very effectively with Client QA Lead and rest of the QA team
• Follow up on important incremental changes and get it covered
• Provide weekly reports on tasks executed

Must Haves:

• 3 years of experience in software engineering or testing experience in web and mobile
• Familiarity with automation lifecycle, test methodology, test metrics and reporting mechanism
• Experience in at least 1 programming languages such as JavaScript (ideally) and Python
• Adoptable and ability to multi-task in continuously changing environment
• Expertise in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in CI/CD is added bonus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent
