Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree (BS, BE, or BTECH) in Engineering or Computer Science is the foundational requirement for this role. This ensures candidates possess a strong theoretical understanding of computing principles, software development methodologies, and problem-solving techniques essential for technical leadership.
Professional Experience:A minimum of five years of experience is required, specifically in leading a team of technical resources. This emphasizes the need for proven leadership skills, including mentoring, project management, and strategic decision-making in a technical environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in guiding engineers, fostering collaboration, and delivering complex technical projects.
Technical Acumen:
- C++ Expertise: Proficient in C++ development, encompassing a deep understanding of its paradigms, libraries, and best practices. This includes the ability to design, develop, and optimize high-performance, scalable applications.
- Full Stack Development: Strong capabilities in full stack development, meaning proficiency across both front-end and back-end technologies. This includes experience with various programming languages, frameworks, databases, and deployment strategies to build comprehensive software solutions.
- Database Management and Scripting: Expertise in database management, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity. This also involves strong scripting skills for database administration, automation, and data manipulation.
- Reporting, Debugging, and Code Fixes: Proven ability in generating insightful reports from complex data, efficiently debugging software issues, and implementing robust code fixes. This highlights a meticulous approach to software quality and maintenance.
- Cloud Platform Acumen (GCP and others): Familiarity and practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes understanding cloud architecture, services, and deployment models, as well as the ability to leverage cloud resources for scalable and resilient applications. Experience with other major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is also highly valued.
