We are looking for a Senior Manager (Information Security - AI/ML & Sensitive Data) to join our growing team (remote from MX/Canada).
We are establishing a specialized Information Security team for a global tech giant, focused on protecting sensitive data and AI/ML-based platforms. This team will handle advanced security responsibilities across domains like proactive vulnerability management, threat modeling, and incident response—particularly for groups working on health data solutions, sustainability, and cutting-edge AI technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and prioritize vulnerability remediation efforts across multiple product teams, ensuring risk-based decision-making and timely closure.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive mitigation strategies tailored to complex AI/ML systems and sensitive data environments.
- Drive threat modeling initiatives, focusing on intentional and unintentional insider threats, and recommend design-time security controls.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve security controls specific to AI/ML platforms and sensitive domains (e.g., health data).
- Act as the point of contact for security collaboration with product teams during design and development.
- Establish meaningful security metrics and reporting frameworks, enabling visibility into vulnerabilities, remediations, and security coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional security and engineering teams to close control gaps and evolve internal tooling.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in information security. With a strong track record in vulnerability management, secure software development, or product security.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML security challenges and experience securing systems with sensitive or regulated data (e.g., health or financial data).
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing security teams and collaborating with global stakeholders.
Bonus Points
- Strong analytical and risk prioritization skills with a hands-on approach to driving security remediation.
- Familiarity with secure SDLC practices, threat modeling methodologies, and industry-standard security frameworks.
- Proficiency and good communication in English
