We are looking for a Information Security Specialist (AI/ML & Sensitive Data) to join our growing team (Remote from Mexico or Canada).

 We are hiring a Security Specialist to join a focused team supporting a global tech giant. The role involves vulnerability triage, hands-on remediation guidance, and proactive threat modeling for systems built on sensitive data and advanced AI/ML algorithms. This is a hands-on opportunity to help shape security practices for high-impact, forward-looking technology products.

 Roles and Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritize a backlog of known vulnerabilities across key technology teams.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to validate, guide, and support the implementation of security mitigation.
• Participate in threat modeling exercises and contribute to the design of security controls for sensitive AI/ML-based platforms.
• Document and operationalize new security controls relevant to use cases in health, sustainability, and emerging tech.
• Contribute to the creation of dashboards and metrics for tracking vulnerabilities and security control adoption.
• Work with senior security engineers and stakeholders to align with global security standards and close control gaps.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, or threat modeling with exposure to securing AI/ML systems platforms handling sensitive data (highly desirable).
• Proficiency in interpreting security findings and working with engineers to implement remediation.
• Familiarity with secure development practices, basic coding/scripting skills, and modern security tooling with strong documentation and communication skills to influence product teams and ensure secure-by-design implementations.
