Qualitest is looking for QA Engineer in Mexico!

Must haves:
1. 3+ years working in the software industry in Development, Tech support, or Quality Assurance  (Good knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methodology, best practices and tools)
2. AWS familiarity 
3. Strong knowledge of configuring and working with various operating systems

Nice to have:
Knowledge of: Jira (ideal), Confluence, Slack, Jenkins 
Networking knowledge and/or experience 
Prior history working in the Digital Forensics and or e-discovery field

What is your mission?
As a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer, you will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will be working together with software developers and researchers. Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities. You will Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. You will be monitoring and analyzing automation processes and reports.

What are your responsibilities?
The QA engineer will help improve two of client's SaaS product lines. 

What will your day look like?
Working with teams and their QA people on new features and how to best validate their quality. 
Assist operating and tracking quality metrics and KPIs.
Suggest, build plan, guide and work with Team Leaders and their teams on improving the quality metrics.
Investigate product quality backlog to minimize product risks.
Assist end release quality processes.
Help develop the product testing methodologies.
Work with a highly distributed agile team across the US.
Work with other QA team members to define overall testing strategies and workflows for a suite of digital forensic and e-discovery products.
Design and execute performance and scalability tests.
Work on multiple platforms such as Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent experience
3+ years working in the software industry in Development, Tech support, or Quality Assurance
Good knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methodology, best practices and tools
Excellent English and communication skills (written and verbal)
Aptitude working on multiple platforms, with multiple technologies
Strong knowledge of configuring and working with various operating systems
Prior history working in the Digital Forensics and or e-discovery field – A big plus
Knowledge of: Jira, Confluence, Slack, Jenkins
AWS familiarity – A big plus
Networking knowledge and/or experience - A big plus
