Functional Tester with Insurance domain skills

Qualitest is looking for B1 Resource with strong expertise in manual testing, insurance domain knowledge, and proficiency in JIRA and Power BI

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of insurance applications, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and create test plans.

Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.

Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and maintain test documentation.

Generate Power BI dashboards and reports to provide visibility into test progress, defect trends, and quality metrics.

Ensure compliance with insurance domain standards and regulatory requirements.

Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives) and contribute to Agile delivery.

Provide knowledge transfer and support to team members on testing processes and tools.

Must have:

Strong experience in manual testing with a focus on insurance applications.

4/5Hands‑on expertise with JIRA for test management and defect tracking.

4/5Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and analytics.

3/5Good understanding of insurance workflows, policies, and claims processes.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
