Location - Remote (Argentina)

Job Description:

The Test Planning and Coordinating Professional is responsible for test management/coordination from Requirement gathering activities through Warranty period. To own and define the Test Plan, to estimate time and resource for projects, to plan how to deliver the testing and create the applicable testing documents. To manage all aspects of testing on behalf of the client; responsible for the quality of the project and as well as functional responsibilities. To act as focal point for project test matters.

Job Responsibilities:

Implement best practice testing approach as per client’s requirements.

Provide input to overall project plan regarding all testing aspects. Manage several projects and test teams simultaneously.

Follow agreed approach & advise of any deviation from direction established.

Facilitate/Coordinate Risk-Weighting session(s) (large projects only).

Create Requirements Traceability Coverage reporting (large projects only).

Conduct Testing Kickoff meeting.

Develop Test Plan documentation.

Establish Regular and/or Stand-up meetings.

Setup project in test management tool (ADO and/or qTest) to steward testing.

Load business requirements into test management tool (ADO and/or qTest).

Map business requirements to URT (User Readiness Testing) test cases.

Request test case inventory from different organizations/teams within the company.

Create and provide Test Inventory Readiness Metrics.

Load test cases into test management tool (ADO and/or qTest).

Coordinate Test Execution Readiness - Integration Testing (IT).

Request names of testers and defect fixers to Focal Points.

Request test management tool (ADO and/or qTest) IDs for testers & defect fixers.

Provide test management tool (ADO and/or qTest) training for testers - Test Preparation, Test Execution & Defect Management.

Create and maintain test cases in the chosen test management tool (ADO and/or qTest).

Setup End-to-end scenarios in ADO Test LAB (as needed).

Update each test case with: Tester, Dates, Data file, "Ready".

Create and deliver Test Inventory & Execution Readiness Metrics.

Setup Test Entry Criteria (Environment prep, Test IDs, Test Data, Batch, etc.).

Coordinate the establishment/creation of ACC interfaces.

Coordinate the preparation of tests with partner applications.

Conduct Integration testing.

Setup and conduct regular status meetings (review testing & defect status).

Defect fixing follow up.

Document and validate Test Exit Criteria.

Create, deliver and present Testing Close-out Report.

Manage User Readiness Testing (URT).Support Production Go-Live & Warranty period (if applicable).

Conduct Lesson Learned sessions.

Request final Acceptance / Sign Off on test completion from project stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Understanding of project lifecycle and deliverables.

Knowledge and experience in different testing methodologies.

Deep understanding of risk-based test approach.

Deep understanding of the different test phases.

Knowledge and experience in functional testing.

Experience in requirements gathering, writing test plans and test cases.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple testers located in different geographical regions.

Ability to use all aspects of a test management tool (fluency in AzureDevOps (preferably) and qTest).

Ability to work effectively in diverse environments. Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Effective and clear communication. Provide feedback and raise concerns in an effective and timely manner. Ability to build and sustain client relationship.
