SQL Developer - Argentina

Overview:

Qualitest is looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries and database structures. You will work with large datasets, ensure database performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong SQL expertise, experience with relational databases, and a deep understanding of database optimization techniques.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and database structures.
• Design and implement database indexing, normalization, and performance optimization strategies.
• Work with large datasets, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Ensure database security and follow best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data-related needs.
  
   

Must-Have Qualifications:
 

• Proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with database design, indexing, normalization, and query optimization techniques (including performance profiling).
• Familiarity with data modeling tools and practices.
• Ability to work with large datasets and handle performance challenges.
• Understanding of database security and best practices.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools (optional, but a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
