Automation Architect - Argentina

Overview:
 

Qualitest is looking for an Automation Architect to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing automation strategies, assessing the current automation landscape, and providing oversight for multiple projects. The ideal candidate is an experienced architect with a strong background in automation frameworks, rather than an expert in a single tool. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Assess and improve the current test automation landscape through evaluations and interviews.

• Perform a comprehensive framework assessment, identifying gaps and enhancement opportunities.

• Review and optimize the automation roadmap through cost-benefit analysis.

• Evaluate team skills in automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, AccelQ), frameworks, and programming (C#).

• Define and implement automation best practices across the organization.

• Establish roles, responsibilities, and collaboration processes for automation teams.

• Define and track automation metrics & KPIs for reporting.

• Develop and execute automation strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals.

Must have qualifications:
 

• Proven experience as an Automation Architect or similar role.

• Strong expertise in automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright (primary), AccelQ, or Tosca.

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps Testing Tool.

• Experience in C# programming and automation scripting.

• Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and BDD practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to assess team skills and provide training/guidance.

• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.

• Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset to stay updated on automation trends.
