Senior QA engineer (with AQA experience)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating and reporting of testing within the team
• Prioritize which test plans to execute for specific app releases and launches
• Plan and run tests using a deep understanding of the business logic of complex systems
• Identify key testing challenges / goals and develop Test Plan
• Describe entry and exit criteria in testing for new feature requirements
• Communicates the plan / updates / status of product effectively to TL and product team
• Help design and implement automated scenarios in line with requirements
• Maintain and improve the automation test suites

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in testing domain and testing process life cycle
• 5+ years of experience in automation QA
• Strong knowledge in QA processes and methodologies (experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution)
• Must have experience in web testing, API testing
• Knowledge in Cypress and Cucumber BDD (Gherkin BDD)
• Knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript (or similar)
• Experience with JSON, XML concepts
• Experience with Git- Able to write/execute test cases, prepare test data and maintain QA documentation
• Able to work independently, has excellent understanding of requirements and has a proactive attitude
• Able to understand complex and new feature requirements easily and create traceability matrix to ensure all requirements are covered
• Expertise in reporting, RCA (Root Cause Analysis) skills, bug analysis and defect management
• Experience with Jira and Agile methodology
• Interest in learning new tools and technologies
• Good communication, reporting and coordination skills

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification- Knowledge about AWS services- CI/CD experience
