Senior Manual Engineer

What You Will Do

• Identify and log SW defects on the platform through
• Structured, Exploratory, and Regression Testing.
• Review, Analysis, and test case creation
• Test case maintenance in compliance with software evolution, requirements, and traceability tracking
• Detailed analysis of reported problems, bug analysis, bug verification, and tracking.
• Perform regular reviews and conduct retrospection meetings to achieve high-quality results.
• Independently handle both Vehicle testing and bench testing request.
• Collaborate with various test teams to improvise and evolve existing test strategies.Identify, plan, and perform manual and automated software testing.
• Perform session-based exploratory testing.
• Identify, plan, and perform endurance-based testing or life testing to verify functionality over a long period of ignition cycles.
• Identify software issues and transfers problem issues into the issue tracking system with supporting log files and data.
• Record, process, and analyze data with PC-based tools and test instrumentation.Participate in internal and customer test drives.
•  Provide technical support for the resolution of various customer and interdepartmental issues on an as-needed basis.
• Participation in internal and external test drives with customer participation

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other similar specialization
• 7+ years Testing experience.
• Good understanding of Embedded System and Automotive Products.
• Good understanding of Automotive Infotainment systems.
• Understand the SW and HW architecture of various platform variants.
• Have a good understanding of the technical aspects of a wide range of equipment, including computers, software, and hardware.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the different Telematics domains like OTA, GNSS, E-Call, Positioning, 4G/5G, Wifi
• Good knowledge of Diagnose protocols UDS, SOVDGood experience in system test methods, processes, error management and tools.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and database administration toolsKnowledge of standard industry communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc
• Team player skills with a “can do” attitude.
• Understanding about diagnosis topics of a vehicle and about diagnostic communication protocols used in electronic control units.
• Knowledge of the V-model software development process
• ISTQB Certification and ASPICE knowledge
• Working knowledge of Android and Linux
• Programming knowledge is a plus.
