Senior Backend Developer

You will create and deploy reliable backend systems as a Senior Backend Engineer for one of the biggest digital forensics company that provides tools for law enforcement agencies, guaranteeing the security, scalability, and effectiveness of our apps.

A team member with excellent communication skills and a sense of responsibility is what we're searching for. It's a hands-on, full-time role where you are expected to mentor other team members with your expertise and be willing to master the current code base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems and integrate with cloud services on AWS.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy AWS infrastructure, leveraging services with an emphasis on scalability and security.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Datadog to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to deliver cohesive, scalable, and secure applications.
• Automation & Optimization: Automate workflows and improve infrastructure and application performance, ensuring low-latency and high-availability systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency in NodeJS/GoLang forbackend services and scripting tasks.
• Extensive experience with AWS, including core services.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog/Grafana.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications.
