Middle DSP Electrical Engineer - Radio & Communications

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a Radio & Communications division, contributing to the development of advanced communication systems.

In this role, you will work on the design, development, integration, and optimization of communication solutions involving signal processing, embedded systems, and modem technologies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-performance systems used in complex, real-world environments.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain DSP firmware for communication systems.
  • Implement and optimize embedded software for real-time signal processing applications.
  • Develop, integrate, and validate solutions involving DSPs, ARM-based processors, and FPGA platforms.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of modem algorithms and communication protocols.
  • Analyze system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware and software domains.
  • Participate in system integration, verification, and validation activities.
  • Use simulation and modeling tools to evaluate and improve communication system performance.
  • Collaborate with RF, FPGA, hardware, and software engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in embedded systems, digital communications, or signal processing development.
  • Experience developing embedded software in C for real-time applications.
  • Understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts and implementations.
  • Experience with ARM-based processors and embedded system architectures.
  • Understanding of analog and digital communication principles.
  • Familiarity with modem technologies and communication algorithms.
  • Experience with communication system simulation and analysis tools such as MATLAB.
  • Experience integrating and debugging embedded platforms involving processors, DSPs, and/or FPGAs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with TI or Analog Devices DSP platforms.
  • Familiarity with ARM Cortex-R5 and/or Cortex-A53 architectures.
  • Knowledge of RF concepts and wireless communication systems.
  • Experience with FPGA-based development and integration.
  • Exposure to communication protocol stacks and higher communication layers.
  • Basic understanding of assembly programming for DSP optimization.
