Mid Devops Engineer (Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python scripting, experienced in CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins, and have a strong working knowledge of GitHub Actions for automation and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Develop automation scripts and tools in Python to support infrastructure and deployment tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and pull request processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Continuously improve deployment processes and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-4+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Strong experience with Jenkins pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions workflows.
• Solid understanding of Git, version control, and branching strategies.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
