We are looking for a Junior Engineer (FPGA) to join a Radio & Communications division and contribute to the development of advanced communication systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in FPGA-based modem development, digital signal processing, and embedded communications systems while working alongside experienced engineering teams on real-world wireless communication solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of FPGA-based modem functionalities.
- Assist in designing, coding, and testing firmware using VHDL.
- Participate in RTL simulations, debugging, and verification activities.
- Contribute to the integration of FPGA components within embedded communication systems.
- Support modem algorithm implementation and validation activities.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineering teams during development and integration phases.
- Assist in laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of communication systems.
- Document designs, test procedures, and development results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of digital design principles and FPGA development concepts.
- Familiarity with VHDL or other hardware description languages gained through academic projects, internships, or personal projects.
- Basic knowledge of RTL design, simulation, and debugging methodologies.
- Understanding of digital communication fundamentals and modem concepts.
- Exposure to FPGA platforms and embedded systems through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Familiarity with MATLAB or similar simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative engineering environment.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Xilinx FPGA devices and development tools.
- Familiarity with SoC architectures.
- Basic understanding of DSP concepts and signal processing techniques.
- Experience with FPGA testbenches and verification environments.
- Academic or project experience involving wireless communications, SDR, or modem implementations.
