Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance back-end systems for our client. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet the rigorous demands of a global technology leader.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Java and C++, with the flexibility and agility to switch between technologies as required. This role is ideal for someone who is a fast learner, adaptable, and eager to contribute to pioneering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize back-end systems using Java and C++ for high-scale, high-impact projects.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders within both our company and the client’s organization to define and implement cutting-edge technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, ensuring the reliability of mission-critical applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and best practices, adhering to the standards set by both our organization and the client.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks, balancing priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, helping to shape the technical direction of projects with a global reach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3-4+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on back-end systems.
• Proficiency in both Java and C++ with hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, frameworks, and languages as needed, particularly in a fast-moving, multinational corporate environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment across multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of network programming and distributed systems.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization in both Java and C++ applications.
