Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced leader for our Data Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE). This role requires a strong blend of strategic leadership, hands-on expertise, and the ability to build differentiators in the data space. The VP will be responsible for establishing and scaling our Data Engineering CoE, developing cutting-edge capabilities, and contributing to strategic customer engagements and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Data CoE Build capabilities/ differentiators in data engineering field including Data migration, Data modernization and Data governance
• Define differentiating solutions for Data related RFPs/ proposals
• Build Data Engineering practice with strong foundation
• Customer discussions Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the Data CoE to position the organization as a thought leader in the industry.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 18+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to data engineering and related areas.
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure and AWS data ecosystems, including services like: Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Purview, AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Lake Formation, etc.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale data migration and modernization projects.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and understanding of their impact on modern data architectures and governance.
• Experience in building or contributing significantly to data or analytics practices within a consulting or services organization.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
