Team Lead (SLS)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and semi-technical Team and Quality Lead to manage and mentor a team of data analysts. This unique, hybrid role requires a dynamic leader who can drive both team performance and the overall quality of our data analysis output. You will be responsible for the professional growth of your team while simultaneously acting as the primary advocate for data integrity and process excellence. The ideal candidate is adept at stakeholder management, committed to fostering a high-quality work environment, and capable of balancing people leadership with hands-on quality oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, focusing on their technical, operational, and performance growth.
Manage resource planning and Work Breakdown Structure to ensure equitable work distribution.
Partner with other Team Leads to ensure the team consistently meets SLA for quality and delivery.
Identify training gaps, and collaborate with L&D and Technical Writers to develop relevant documentation and training plans.
Champion knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement and mentorship within the team.
Quality Assurance & Data Analysis:
Oversee data analysis for large, complex graph database systems with a keen focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Summarize analyses, identify trends, and communicate findings concisely to various stakeholders.
Lead the development and implementation of solutions for operational process changes to enhance data quality.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis for process breakdowns and data quality issues.
Proactively raise technical questions and queries to Software Engineer teams to resolve data-related challenges.
Communication & Reporting:
Lead and present findings at Bug Triage meetings, emphasizing root causes and quality fixes.
Demonstrate excellent written communication skills, including writing concise reports for leadership that identify potential risks and provide remedies.
Proficiently create and deliver various reports (e.g., Weekly Status Reports, Quarterly Business Reviews) that highlight both team performance and key quality metrics.
Adeptly capture and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
Required Skills:
Leadership & Technical Acumen:
Excellent stakeholder and customer handling abilities.
Strong team player with proven leadership capabilities.
Proficient in reporting (e.g., WSR, QBR) and adept at capturing KPIs and metrics.
Ability to mentor and guide teams on technical, operational, and performance matters.
Understands technical concepts and is comfortable engaging with Software Engineer teams.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
Strong analytical skills to identify trends and summarize complex data.
Ability to develop solutions for operational process changes and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
Proactive in proposing solutions and influencing through data-driven recommendations.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills in business English.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a technical subject is required.
