Grade: B1 Role starting 27th Apr – 25th Dec (Core Team) – Support across portfolios(Core Team) – Support across portfolios: CRM Salesforce, Web and App supportExperience: 5-8 YearsWe are seeking a highly experienced Performance Test Lead with strong CRM (Salesforce) expertise to drive performance engineering strategy across Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud), Web, and Mobile integrations.This role will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Performance Testing across multiple portfolios, ensuring quality governance, stakeholder communication, and delivery excellence across CRM, Web, and Mobile platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Portfolio Ownership1. Act as SPOC for Performance Testing across CRM portfolios2. Own end-to-end performance strategy, planning, and execution3. Define and govern NFRs, SLAs, and performance benchmarks4. Lead performance estimations, release readiness, and sign-offs5. Collaborate with Architecture, Business, and Engineering leadershipCRM (Salesforce) Testing Ownership1. Lead performance strategy for Salesforce CRM platforms (Service Cloud / Marketing Cloud / Experience Cloud)2. Validate performance of Salesforce workflows, Apex transactions, batch jobs, and integrations3. Identify and monitor row locks, concurrent Apex limits, API limits, and connection pool timeouts4. Conduct API, UI, and batch performance testing within Salesforce layers5. Validate integration performance between Salesforce, Web, and Mobile systems6. Ensure client-specific customizations meet defined SLAsPerformance Framework & Architecture1. Maintain and enhance distributed JMeter-based performance framework2. Support containerized execution (Docker) and Kubernetes-based scaling if applicable3. Design workload models (load, stress, spike, endurance) aligned to CRM usage patterns4. Define data volume simulations and growth projections5. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines6. Establish centralized reporting and monitoring mechanismsMigration & Transformation Support1. Define performance strategy for CRM transformation initiatives2. Conduct impact analysis on integrations and downstream systems3. Validate regression performance during major releases or migrations4. Ensure end-to-end journey validation under peak load conditionsTechnical Responsibilities:1. Develop and review JMeter scripts for API, UI, and batch processes2. Perform bottleneck analysis across application, DB, and infrastructure layers3. Monitor Salesforce event logs for performance anomalies4. Analyse throughput, latency, error rates, and concurrency behaviour5. Provide tuning recommendations for Apex, integrations, and database queries6. Support capacity planning and scalability assessmentsQuality Governance & Risk Management1. Establish performance testing standards and best practices2. Drive risk assessments and mitigation strategies3. Ensure alignment of performance coverage with business-critical CRM flows4. Lead defect triage for performance issues and conduct RCA5. Provide executive-level performance reports and insights Required SkillsTechnical Skills1. Strong experience in Salesforce CRM performance testing2. Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits and event monitoring3. Experience in API, UI, and batch performance testing4. Hands-on expertise in JMeter 5. Knowledge of distributed load testing frameworks6. Database performance analysis (locking, indexing, query tuning)7. Experience validating integrations (middleware, APIs)8. CI/CD integration knowledge9. Monitoring tools experience (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)Leadership & Management Skills1. Proven experience leading Performance Engineering teams2.
