Job Description – Learning Technologist & OperationsRole Title: Learning Technologist & OperationsDepartment: Learning & Development (Office of the CLO)Location: IndiaReports To: Learning Technology ArchitectJob Type: Full-timeExperience Required: 2–8 years3 must havesL&D 4/5IT Knowledge 4/5Digital acumen 3/5 Role PurposeThe Learning Technologist & Operations role is responsible for managing the end-to-end learning technology ecosystem and operational processes that support global L&D programs. The role ensures seamless delivery, high-quality learner experiences, and arriving at meaningful insights from the learning data to propel learning across our digital engineering workforce distributed across 15+ countries. The position plays a critical part in enabling our AI-native, scalable, and capability-driven learning strategy.________________________________________Key Responsibilities1. Learning Technology ManagementAdminister and optimize the Learning Experience Platform (LXP).Manage platform configurations, user roles, content libraries, and course catalogs.Integrate learning tools with HRIS, productivity tools, and enterprise systems.Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational hygiene.2. Learning Operations & Program SupportPlan, schedule, and coordinate learning programs, workshops, cohorts, and certification tracks.Manage enrollments, communications, attendance, evaluations, and logistics.Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for global L&D processes.Ensure adherence to global and country-specific learning compliance requirements.3. Digital Content & Learning Asset ManagementSupport the development, upload, testing, and maintenance of digital learning content (SCORM, xAPI, videos, microlearning).Manage content templates, branding guidelines, metadata, and version control.Work closely with academy leads, SMEs, instructional designers, and content vendors.4. Analytics & ReportingCreate and maintain dashboards to track learning participation, completions, skills data, certifications, and ROI.Extract insights using analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau) and platform-native reporting.Partner with HRBPs, business units, and COEs to provide data insights for reviews and decision-making.5. Automation & AI EnablementImplement AI and automation workflows for content tagging, nudges, operational tasks, and personalization.Enable AI-driven processes across the L&D ecosystem and promote AI fluency within the team.Explore and adopt new technologies to enhance learner experience and operational efficiency.6. Vendor ManagementCoordinate with learning platform providers, content partners, and external facilitators._______________________________________ Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical SkillsHands-on experience with LMS/LXP platforms (Percipio, Docebo, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Degreed, EdCast, Moodle, etc.).Deep understanding of SCORM, xAPI, AICC, HTML5, and digital learning standards.Working knowledge of HRIS integrations, APIs, and SSO setups.Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).Familiarity with AI tools for content generation, automation, tagging, and analytics.Working knowledge of at least one Programming languageOperational SkillsStrong learning program management, scheduling, and coordination abilities.Ability to understand, appreciate SOPs and adhere to global learning processes.Excellent vendor management and contract administration skills.High attention to detail, accuracy, and process compliance.Behavioral SkillsStrong communication and stakeholder management.Ability to work in high-velocity, multi-country environments.Service-oriented mindset with a high sense of ownership.Agile, adaptable, and tech-curious approach.________________________________________EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education Technology or a related field.
