Positions: 2 (1 Italian LE and 1 German LE)Exp. 2 to 4 yearsLocation: Samsung Office Noida (100% work from client office)Language Expert – Italian / German 4/5Content generation / localization 4/5About the RoleWe are seeking highly skilled Language Experts (Italian / German) to support AI Models and Dataset evaluation, content generation, translation/localization/transliteration, linguistic evaluation, and quality assurance for AI/LLM development. You will generate natural language data, ensure linguistic and cultural accuracy, and help improve model performance for your language.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Generation & Localization•Generate high-quality titles, sentences, sample datasets, and gold-standard linguistic content in the target language.•Create culturally accurate and natural linguistic examples for training and evaluating language models.•Translate and localize English text into Italian/German while maintaining semantic accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.•Adapt English-specific terminology and idioms into natural equivalents in the target language.Translation, Review & Data Validation•Translate content from English → Italian/German and vice versa with precision and fluency.•Validate, review, and refine language datasets for correctness, coherence, and quality.•Evaluate and score AI model outputs for grammar, meaning, readability, and cultural appropriateness.•Rewrite or correct content to align with the linguistic norms and expectations of each language.Model Evaluation & Linguistic Quality Assurance•Analyse linguistic patterns, recurring issues, and model performance across releases.•Ensure evaluation samples are accurate, trustworthy, and consistent with guidelines.•Collaborate with cross-locale Language Experts to develop language-specific evaluation instructions.•Provide clear, actionable feedback for improving model behaviour and language quality.Skills and QualificationsEducational Background•Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or related field with in-depth knowledge of language structures, phonetics, syntax, semantics, and linguistic analysis methods.•Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Linguistics preferred but not required.Language Expertise•Native-level fluency in Italian or German with exceptional command of grammar, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances.•Meticulous attention to linguistic details, including grammar, pronunciation, tone, and subtle language variations.•Strong understanding of cultural context, social norms, idiomatic usage, and non-verbal communication in the target language.Analytical & Communication Skills•Strong analytical ability to dissect language structures, identify patterns, compare variations, and draw meaningful linguistic conclusions.•Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining findings, writing reports, and delivering clear linguistic feedback.•Ability to critically evaluate text for clarity, intent, fluency, and accuracy.Additional Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)•Research skills: Ability to collect linguistic data, perform analysis, and investigate language phenomena.•Programming knowledge & Prompt Design: Preferred for NLP tasks and data analysis workflows.•Prior experience with LLMs, NLP annotation, content validation, gold set creation, or linguistic QA is a strong advantage.
