Functional Lead (Insurance Domain)

Role Summary:We are looking for a team of QE engineers with strong expertise in both functional testing and test automation to support implementation of a third-party administrator platform for insurance policy.

The candidate(s) will be responsible for understanding the policy admin area, executing against the QE plan driven by onshore lead, reporting risks and issues, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

QE execution of functional tests – receiving business requirements to create manual tests from scratch and automation scripting from manual test case creation

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Build and maintain automation test suites for UI, API, and data validation using industry-standard tools.Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:Strong US Insurance markets knowledge - Policy Lifecycle, Policy Admin systems, knowledge paymentsDeep understanding of insurance policy lifecycle, policy administration, and associated system integrations as required

Hands-on experience with automation tools Selenium/C# and API testing tools (Postman).

Experience with Agile methodologies, ADO, and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or hands-on experience with TPA implementations

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps tools.

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
