Workday HCM Consultant – Comprehensive Job ProfileA seasoned Workday HCM Consultant with extensive experience in end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday HCM modules, including Recruiting, Core HCM, Benefits, and Payroll. Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions. Known for guiding clients through every phase of the Workday lifecycle while fostering collaboration, innovation, and best practice adoption.________________________________________Key Responsibilities1. Serve as a Workday HCM product expert with deep knowledge in design, configuration, testing, and implementation across various modules.2. Conduct and facilitate design sessions, guiding clients through configuration decisions based on best practices and tailored to unique business requirements.3. Recommend optimal solutions aligned with the client’s needs, budget, and timelines, while proactively adapting scope as new requirements emerge.4. Ensure smooth transitions from legacy HR systems to Workday by providing hands-on guidance through every stage of the project lifecycle.5. Track issues and risks, provide clear status updates, and escalate concerns appropriately across multiple clients and engagements.6. Perform multiple project tasks with minimal supervision, keeping clients, team members, and Engagement Managers informed of progress and changes.7. Demonstrate hands-on expertise in loading client data, migrating configurations between tenants, and setting up business processes and security frameworks.8. Actively participate in Workday update trainings and internal knowledge sharing initiatives to promote team growth and solution excellence.9. Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support organizational and project goals.________________________________________Skills & Requirements1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.2. 8+ years of Workday implementation and configuration experience, especially within Recruiting, Core HCM, Benefits, and Payroll.3. Workday HCM certification preferred.4. Deep expertise across Workday Human Capital Management modules, with strong functional and technical acumen.5. Proficiency in Workday Business Process Framework, Alerts/Notifications, Advanced Reporting, Dashboards, Security, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).6. Exceptional consulting, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to manage customer expectations and deliver value-driven outcomes.7. Strong commitment to exceptional customer service, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.8. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.9.
