Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual testing and strong exposure to data platforms, especially Azure Databricks.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test management tools like JIRA and HP ALM, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for data and application systems
• Perform manual testing for data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in Azure Databricks environments
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirementsIdentify, log, track, and manage defects using JIRA and HP ALM
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
• Prepare test reports, metrics, and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in DB Testing Strong understanding of data testing concepts (ETL, data validation, data quality checks)
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
• Experience working with JIRA and HP ALM for test and defect management
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools
• Experience in cloud-based data platformsNice to HaveExperience in Pharma / Life Sciences domain
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
