(4/5)Soft skills – eager to learn, positive attitude, and someone who is willing speak up, contribute to the team/participate, able to provide reporting on time (4/5)Roles and responsibilitiesTrack defects for ST/ SIT / UAT cycles and drive them to closureThe management and control of all defects within the in-house development environmentsWill be the point of contact for all Defect status related queries across all environmentsDefinition, ownership and management of the Defect ProcessWill support all aspects of the Defect Process and offer guidance to the software development and operational teams as and when requiredLiaising with the Problem Management Team to ensure a clear and efficient interaction within overlapping processes, and to promote this with all project deliverablesEnsuring all defects are entered correctly and controlled/managed as effectively as possible through their lifecycleIdentify and implement process & tools improvements for defect prevention and/or to improve defect resolution timesMaintaining absolute integrity of the defect database and ensuring a full audit trail for any changes made to defect status outside of the published defect process.Develop daily, weekly defect status reports and trending reportsInitiate and manage escalation process for any defects exceeding SLAsCollaborate with QA/Testing and Release/Change Management teams to maintain awareness of new code changes, new test cycles, ongoing automation test results and new defects, bug fix scheduling and retestingDesired Skills and Experience:-Jira Experience/HP ALM, Tricentis qTest-The ability to chair, own, and steer critical triage meetings to achieve a satisfactory outcome-Good working knowledge of agile and DevOps lifecycle=Demonstrate experience of working in high-pressure environments in previous roles-Ability to manage repeatable standard processes along with an ability to find, own and resolve ad-hoc issues-Ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
