QTY 1 offshore B2/C1 observability engineer starting a new effort at BCU standing up Dynatrace tool for observability - working and reporting directly into senior client developers but leading the effort to set up alerts and manage Dynatrace as a tool post initial implementation 45$/hr rate - US overlap (through 10AM CST)Key Responsibilities:•Assist in the design and deployment of new Dynatrace tool platform at BCU, coordinating with Dynatrace implementation team upon BCU requirements•Manage Dynatrace monitoring and observability platform across microservices environments after initial deployment.•Work with software development team to Implement required observability and configure alerts.•Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Dynatrace platform•Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, ticketing systems, and collaboration tools•Support incident response by involving the right team members during India business hours.•Maintain monitoring documentation, runbooks, and operational proceduresRequired Qualifications:•6+ years of total experience with 3+ years in monitoring and observability.•Hands-on experience with Dynatrace platform implementation and administration.•Experience deploying Dynatrace, synthetic monitoring, and real user monitoring (RUM).•Strong understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) concepts.•Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.•Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.•Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.•Familiarity with log analysis, distributed tracing, and metrics-based monitoring.•Experience integrating monitoring with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.Preferred Qualifications:•Dynatrace certifications (e.g., Dynatrace Associate or Professional).•Experience with SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, and error budgets.•Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.•Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.•Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures.Key Skills:•Dynatrace Administration 4/5•Observability & APM 4/5•Cloud Monitoring 3/5•Performance Optimization
