API automation Engineer

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong programming skills in Core Java
• Hands-on experience with REST Assured for API automation
• Experience using TestNG framework for test case management and reporting
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML structures
• Strong QA fundamentals including test design, test data management, and defect lifecycle
• Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API validation
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Domain Expertise:

• Experience in Investment Banking / Capital Markets domain
• Strong knowledge of Trading and OMS platforms
